Clinical Supervision for Counsellors & Psychotherapists

Providing professional supervision and therapeutic support to counsellors and psychotherapists

As an accredited integrative psychotherapist with 10 years experience of seeing clients, I decided that I would enjoy developing my career by training to become a supervisor as well as carrying on my private work as a therapist.

I have varied experience of being in peer supervision groups for walking therapy; yoga therapy and with other supervisors in training. I believe supervision to not just be essential but vital in order for us to be the best psychotherapists/ counsellors we can be with our clients - to build up support and trust with other professionals so that we can develop our own skills further. My integration of modalities incorporates psychodynamic, person-centered and CBT approaches and most of my own supervision has been psychodynamic based. I therefore bring this into my own supervision groups that I facilitate and also recognise that I have a strong relational aspect to my work.  

In my work as a supervisor, I focus on encouraging my supervisees to be open and able to discuss their work in an environment which is nurturing and safe and without judgment. For me, the purpose of supervision is to reflect on client work together in the group or with the individual supervisee and perhaps offer a different perspective and in this way draw some of the unconscious material in the work to the surface in order to enable the client work to deepen.

I completed the 4 training modules of my supervision course with CSTD, London in January 2026. During this time, I worked as a supervisor for a group of 3 counsellors at Alton Counselling Service (a low cost counselling agency) from September 2024-December 2025 where I obtained 49/ 50 training hours. I am looking to find either 2 individuals or small groups to supervise for the final 5th module and I then hope to continue to work with these supervisees after my training is complete. The 5th module consists of me attending 2 tutorials where I need to reflect on current supervision work with 2 individuals or groups.
